Percie's Adventures is an Australian children's picture book series featuring Percie! Percie is a bold, big-hearted red 4x4 who loves exploring the great outdoors.
Each book is set in a real Aussie location and teaches kids about relevant tips, tricks and things to keep in mind when visiting.
Book 1 is set at the real Glasshouse Mountains 4x4 tracks in South East Queensland. The book is written in rhyme and carries an important message about picking up all the rubbish you find when you’re out on the tracks to help the native animals that live there.

He sure is! Percie is based on my very own project car, a 1996 Nissan GQ Patrol that I bought all the way back in 2021 with my best friend from primary school.

Not at all! While the book was inspired by a love of 4x4 adventures, each book’s core messages can apply with any family who loves spending time outdoors.

The books are designed to be entertaining for little explorers, with a loveable main character and beautiful illustrations, while also teaching them about environmental responsibility, what to pack for a 4x4 adventure, and the importance of caring for Australia's native wildlife and outdoor spaces.

Percie's Adventures is planned as a series of books set in many many real Australian locations. Think of it like Percie is going on “The Big Lap” around Australia and you’re joining his convoy!
Book 2 (that’s already written) takes Percie to K'Gari (Fraser Island) and Book 3 to the Simpson Desert.

Right now, due to shipping costs, I’m only able to ship Australia-wide.
However, if I’m able to get enough interest in the books I’ll be able to expand internationally to bring Australian locations, native animals and Percie’s stories to every corner of the globe!

I offer a flat rate shipping fee of $5.50 with the option to upgrade to express for $14.95 if you absolutely need the book RIGHT NOW!
In future, when more books in the Percie’s Adventures series are released I’ll offer some free shipping options, so keep your eyes peeled!

l take great care in packing every order but occasionally things happen in transit.
If your book arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact me at yamumslibrary@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
I will arrange a replacement or refund as soon as I can.
